The Florida Highway Patrol is mourning the loss of a trooper killed in the line of duty. It happened Saturday when a vehicle hit Sergeant William Trampas Bishop while he was on patrol on Interstate on 75. The Twitter page for the FHP said “It is with heavy hearts that we report #FHP Sgt. William Trampas Bishop, has died in the line of duty this evening.” Bishop was a 3o-year veteran.
