A Sarasota man is behind bars after police say he walked onto the campus of Riverview High School and began ranting about the ‘corruption in school government.’ Aaron Talley allegedly went to the principal’s office just before 2 o’clock Monday and was turned away. He then walked towards the classrooms, where he was confronted by- and ignored- security and an assistant principal. After entering a classroom, he was removed by a deputy. Once in custody, he said “I need to speak my mind against this evil corruption in school government,” and “Now I understand why people bring guns on campus and shoot kids.” Talley was charged with trespassing on school grounds and disrupting a school function.
