The city of North Port might have to rethink where it is going to put two dispensaries of medical marijuana. Back in November, the city council approved the dispensaries at locations east and west of Sumter Boulevard. But the Englewood Sun reports that restrictions might block those plans. Those restrictions include being at least 800 feet from residences and 15-hundred feet from schools, churches and day cares. Medical marijuana is on the agenda for the North Port City Commission meeting tomorrow evening at 6 in City Hall Commission Chambers.
