The neighborhoods of Sarasota County are being challenged to be greener, healthier and more involved. The county and the Florida Department of Health and Neighborhood Services have come up with an online tool to help neighborhoods proactively enhance their quality of life. Neighborhoods are encouraged to register to participate in Sarasota County’s “Neighborhood Challenge 2017.” Registered neighborhoods will earn points for their participation in designated initiatives, and the highest-scoring neighborhoods will be recognized at the conclusion of the challenge.
