Florida gasoline prices have inched lower for 17 consecutive days. During that time, Triple-A reports that the statewide average price for a gallon of regular has declined by six cents. Triple-A predicts gas prices will trend lower to finish the month, but begin a seasonal rise in February due to refinery maintence season. The current statewide average price for a gallon of regular is currently two-35, down three cents from a week ago. In Englewood, regular averages two-31, down seven cents; the average in North Port is two-29, down four cents; and, in Venice, it’s two-30 a gallon, down two cents.
