Orlando police have captured accused cop killer Markeith Loyd. That follows a more than one-week manhunt during which Port Charlotte native and Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy Norman Lewis was killed when a van hit his motorcycle. Loyd is accused of shooting and killing Orlando police Master Sergeant Debra Clayton in the parking lot of an Orlando Walmart. He is also wanted for killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend in December. There was a 125-thousand dollar reward for his capture. Orlando Police Chief John Mina tweeted that Loyd was–quote–“captured and wearing Lt. Debra Clayton’s handcuffs.”
