Four juveniles have been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the Deep Creek section of Port Charlotte. The crimes happened in the early morning hours of last Friday. All total there were nine reported burglaries of unlocked vehicles. Once these reports were received, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Units and Detectives, quickly developed suspects and located them in the immediate area. The juveniles arrested, three males and one female, are facing multiple charges, including vehicle burglary, theft of an automobile and larceny. Two of them are from Cape Coral, one is from Lehigh Acres and the other is from Fort Myers. Most of the items that were stolen were recovered hidden in nearby bushes and behind homes on Aysen Drive. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office continues to remind all residents and visitors to LOCK their unattended vehicles and conceal any item within the vehicle that may be of value.
