Sarasota County Commissioners meet tomorrow morning for their annual retreat at Phillipi Estate Park. In addition to the usual organizational items, such as electing officers and setting a meeting schedule, the commissioners will be looking ahead to 2017 and approving strategic planning and priorities. Those priorities are expected to include funding for the Venice library and River Road, plus dealing with the homeless and affordable housing.
