It’s getting more expensive to by a home on the Suncoast. According to CoreLogic, home prices in Sarasota and Manatee counties were up seven-point-nine percent in October; that’s a bigger increase than the state and national averages. In Charlotte County, the cost of buying a home went up six-point-nine percent last month. The trend should continue; CoreLogic is predicting that home prices in Florida will go up by five-point-nine percent over the next year. That compares to the national forecast of four-point-six percent.
