Charlotte County’s septic to sewer conversion plans are inching forward following a meeting yesterday with officials and project consultants.
According to the Sun the goal of the conversion is to protect Charlotte Harbor from failing septic tanks that release excess nutrients into the environment.
Costs per property conversion are a long way from being determined, and another meeting is scheduled for next month to go over that and figuring out how those costs will be covered.
