Charlotte County teachers and staff made it crystal clear how they feel about an over 150 percent hike in insurance premiums.

The Sun reports around 200 employees presented the school board with a 2 ½-foot-stack of cards signed by workers stating “Enough is Enough,” and “I Can’t Afford Anymore.”

District administrators say they are working to find the most affordable insurance solution and that they are still in the bargaining process.

The final changes once approved, would go into effect for the 2017 fiscal year from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31
