The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has deputies staked out in Punta Gorda this week to enforce speed limits.
They have the radar guns working in two places: State Road 31 and County Road 74, and Tamiami Trail between Burnt Store and Zemel roads.
Deputies also enforce traffic lights at two spots along Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte this week.
Do not run red lights on 41 at Midway Boulevard or Cochran Boulevard.
