Stonegate Bank has signed a deal to acquire Insignia Bank.
Stonegate expects this combination to increase total assets to $3 billion, making it the seventh-largest bank with its headquarters in Florida.
The acquisition would also make Stonegate the largest community bank by total deposits in Sarasota County.
