The investigation continues into the discovery of a body along a road in Sarasota.
Police say someone made that discovery late yesterday at East Avenue and 17th Street near Highway 301.
Authorities say it remains unclear how much time the body spent along the road.
The Sarasota Medical Examiner’s Office has planned an autopsy.
