City employees in North Port may receive pay increases after September.
However, the city budget has to pass.
The Herald-Tribune reports the city commission may give both unionized and non-unionized city employees three-percent pay raises.
That would come in part of the proposed $127 million budget.
The budget comes up for discussion today in commission meetings.
Officials may finalize it in September ahead of the fiscal year that starts Oct. 1.
