Venice ranks among the 10 safest mid-sized cities in Florida.
The study from ValuePenguin.com has ranked over 200 cities from crime metrics that have to do with the FBI.
Venice overall has the 35th overall safety rank in Florida. It comes in 28th as far as safety from property crime goes, and 48th when it comes to violent crime.
BackgroundChecks.org earlier this year named Venice one of the safest cities in the state.
Venice appeared 24th on that list of 50 safe cities.
