Police in Punta Gorda have arrested a registered sex offender.
They say 46-year-old Ralph Cullen failed to register a change of address and maintain his driver’s license.
The News-Press reports he had moved into a storage unit on Ann Street.
Cullen had put himself 750 feet from Sallie Jones Elementary, and he did not register his address in the two days state law allows.
Additionally, he lived in that storage unit for two weeks.
Cullen’s status stems from convictions in 2003 and 2009 for attempted sexual abuse and sexual misconduct.
