The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has announced a murder arrest.
It says investigators have a confession from 35-year-old Jonathan Cutler.
Authorities have charged him in the death of 33-year-old Eleanor Jones.
The office says Jones’ remains turned up in the woods off Narango Drive in Punta Gorda. However, it also says Cutler claims the murder happened in Lee County.
The Charlotte County sheriff has thanked the sheriff in Lee County and his staff for working together to produce the arrest.
