Curt Clawson has chosen not to run for re-election.
The Republican’s decision marks the latest from a series of Florida lawmakers not to stay in Washington.
Clawson has only served one term in Congress.
He won a special election two years ago after Trey Radel resigned because of his cocaine arrest.
Clawson delivered a national response to the State of the Union last year for the Tea Party.
