Construction jobs in the North Port-Sarasota-Venice market have increased in the last month.
This same analysis shows payrolls have increased five percent in the last year.
The Herald-Tribune reports Associated General Contractors of America have counted 20,600 construction jobs in the market.
That trumps last month’s number by 200.
Meanwhile, Charlotte County has 3,500 construction jobs. That represents an increase from last year of nine percent.
