The U.S. Coast Guard has called off the search for an Englewood man who was first reported missing Friday evening. 48-year-old Jeffery John Reinhardt was last thought to be aboard his 25-foot boat when his son called authorities. The Coast Guard launched a search-and-rescue boat that night, followed by a helicopter that found Reinhardt’s boat near Naples. The boat was out of fuel and missing a life jacket, which was later discovered at Reinhardt’s home. The search for Reinhardt himself was suspended at noon today after 29 separate searches covered over 5,000 square nautical miles.
