More information is coming out surrounding the disappearance of a North Port infant. Chance Walsh was last seen on Sept. 9 by his grandmother, and now WINK News is reporting that a family friend of the baby’s parents says that the couple did not want Chance anymore. Kristen Bury and Joseph Walsh are in a South Carolina jail awaiting extradition to Sarasota County, where the sheriff’s office is no longer searching for Chance, but the medical examiner is considering re-opening a case from last year in which the couple’s other son, Duane, died at only two weeks of age from an apparent kidney infection. Meanwhile, community members are organizing their own searches and fundraisers.
