The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office pays extra attention in a couple different areas this week.
Deputies more strictly enforce the speed limit on Capricorn Boulevard in Port Charlotte, and in Punta Gorda in the area of State Road 31 and County Road 74.
They also enforce traffic lights more carefully at two intersections involving Route 41 in Port Charlotte: Midway Boulevard, and Cochran Boulevard.
