Tropical Storm Erika continued moving west today at about 20 miles-per-hour with maximum sustained winds of about 40 miles-per-hour. The National Weather Service has issued tropical storm watches for much of the Lesser Antilles, which is expected to start feeling more of the storm’s impact tomorrow evening and into Thursday morning. Erika is expected to slow its westward movement during that time, which could bring prolonged winds and rains to the Caribbean islands in its path.
