A woman from a grand jury has something to say.
This group decided in June not to charge any Charlotte Correctional Institution officers in the death of inmate Matthew Walker.
Now Louise Salcedo tells Sun Newspapers that officials talked the jury out of indicting them.
She claims legal advisers from the state attorney’s office called the chances of convictions very slim.
Walker died after fighting with correctional officers last year. The fight followed a late-night cell check.
