A Punta Gorda nurse is in jail following his arrest on child pornography charges. 25-year-old John Casey, Jr., was taken into custody by the state’s cyber-crime task force after a search warrant of his Luther Road apartment turned up numerous digital images of underage exploitation. Casey remains in the Charlotte County jail. A preliminary hearing date has not been set.
