Gov. Rick Scott is not happy with three Florida hospitals, including Venice Regional Bayfront Health, for being ranked among the nation’s worst for infection prevention. Scott said in a press release that the designation by Consumer Reports is “troubling and unacceptable.” Venice’s CEO resigned this week following a mishandling of a sewer leak cleanup.
