Sarasota County’s share of the BP Settlement with be $14.2 million. The Herald-Tribune reports County commissioners unanimously agreed on a resolution today allowing them to accept the recovery money. County administrators have proposed using the money to help bridge operational budget shortfalls now projected through year 2023.
