CCSO Marine Unit deputies will be part of Operation Dry Water, a national campaign to get boaters operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs off the water to cut the number of accidents and fatalities. The three day campaign starts today and runs through Sunday. If you’re on the water with a BAC of .08 or higher, expected to be busted for BUI, have your vessel impounded and/or lose your boating privileges. Marine deputies will also be doing more vessel inspections.
