Here’s where Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies will be concentrating their traffic enforcement efforts this week…

They will be doing speed enforcement on US 41 between Jones Loop Road and Oil Well Road in Punta Gorda; and along Cornelius Boulevard between SR 776 and US 41 in Port Charlotte. Deputies will be doing traffic signal enforcement at the intersections of US 41 and Midway Boulevard and US 41 and Cochran Boulevard, both in Port Charlotte. Deputies will also be paying more attention to seat belt violations through May 31st under the “Click It or Ticket” campaign.
