Law enforcement looks out for haphazard driving today everywhere. However, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has designated places with increased attention for this week.
Deputies have the radar guns working along two stretches of road: Highway 41 in Punta Gorda between Jones Loop and Oil Well roads, and Cornelius Boulevard in Port Charlotte between State Road 776 and Highway 41.
They also enforce traffic lights in two spots along Highway 41 in Port Charlotte: Midway Boulevard and Cochran Boulevard.
