The bodies of a man and woman were found yesterday afternoon while investigators searched through the remains of the home. The first units on the scene, around 2:40a.m., reported the house was fully involved, and burning so hot they couldn’t go inside. a Knight Island neighbor tells NBC2 the it took only a few minutes for the fire to level the home. Charlotte County Fire and EMS say four people lived in the house, but two were away. Investigators are working to confirm the identities of the victim’s.
