Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested an Englewood man for attacking a staff member at his doctor’s office. NBC 2 reports a patient went to the Sarasota Family Medical Walk-In Clinic on Tamiami Trail yesterday, with a complaint out a pain medication. According to deputies John Connolly came in contact with a physician’s assistant who he allegedly started to choke with the stethescope the man had around his neck. A witness pulled Connolly off. He’s been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly deapon.
