A brush fire yesterday afternoon in Port Charlotte provided for some excitement, but no injuries or damage.
It happened near Jaeger Avenue and McCabe Street.
The fire reached four or five acres at its peak.
NBC2 reports an 11-year-old girl made the 911 call.
