You’re invited to join the Charlotte County Sheriff’s departments 50th Citizens Polce Academy. The 8-week class starts Tuesday, June 30th. If you sign up, you’ll hear from members of the departments S.W.A.T., K-9, Forensics, Crime Scene Analysis and Dive team, who’ll demonstrate their particular field of expertise in detail. Plus the course also offers the opportunity to participate in a 12 hour ride along with a deputy. You must be at least 18 years of age, work or live in Charlotte County, and submit to a background investigation and a criminal history check. You can sign up at www.ccso.org.
