This started about 12:30 Saturday morning when officers got to the scene of a roll over on East Hillsborough Boulevard near Yorkshire Street. The Herald-Tribune reports investigators say road rage led one driver to intentionally cause the crash of the rolled over car, and leave the scene. The two people hurt were hospitalized with moderate to severe injuries. It took police a few hours to find the other driver, identified as 26-year old Christopher Gayle. He’s facing charges including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and driving with a suspended or revoked license resulting in serious bodily injury or death.
