Theyl’ll be looking for speeders all week along the entire length of Gulf Stream Boulevard in Englewood, as well as along Midway Boulevard between U.S. 41 and Ohara Drive in Port Charlotte. Traffic signal enforcement will be at the intersections of U.S. 17 and Regent road in Punta Gorda, and U.S. 41 and Conaway
Boulevard in Port Charlotte. The State Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, reports Charlotte County’s 9 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 3 deaths this same time last year.
