A new study ranks Florida third in overbilled Medicare waste.
The Council for Medicare Integrity reports Florida has collected $239 million in overpayments from Medicare in the last year.
However, that sits well below California, which leads everyone with receiving $517 million in overpayments.
The council says 10 states have combined to overbill Medicare $2 billion over the last year.
