Over 100 Sarasota County residents marched outside the County Administration Center today, calling for Christine Robinson to make a choice-be a County Commissioner or be the head of the pro-business and development froup Argus Foundation. A petition’s already gained over 600 signatures demanding Robinson work for one or the other. They say Robinson serving on the Commission and working for Argus is a conflict of interest. Neither Robinson nor the Commission addressed the issue during the public comment portion of today’s meeting, but The Herald-Tribune reports Robinson said during a meeting break that the views of Argus are the same views she’s expressed since she started working on the County Planning Board.
