The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reports four arrests in the latest round of alcohol complaince checks in Port Charlottte.

Personnel visited 13 businesses on Wednesday night as an undercover underage decoy tried buying alcohol. Most of the store clerks checked this person’s ID and refused to sell, but two clerks on Tamiaimi Trail did not.

The sheriff’s office has identified them as 18-year-old Matthew Brunner from the Pik ‘N Run, and 26-year-old Heather Moniz at CVS.

Last night, they went back out and two more clerks broke the law.

The office has identifed them as 44-year-old Michele Boggs of Punta Gorda at Charlie’s Pub on Tamiami Trail, and 37-year-old Kimberly Brazell at Porky’s Roadhouse on Kings Highway.
