A Sarasota man’s being held without bail in the County Jail for possession of child pornography.

42-year old Albert Anderson’s facing 40-plus counts of sexual performance by a child. According to the Herald-Tribune, Sarasota County Sheriff’s detectives got a search warrant after their investigation spotted an IP address that had been used to download over 150-images and videos of child porn. That IP address traced back to Anderson’s home on Hine Drive. The warrant was served yesterday and detectives carted away Anderson’s computers and other electronics. A sheriff’s office spokesperson says some of the images on those devices show the bondage and sexual battery of children. The investigation’s ongoing and additional charges are possible.
