Updated fuel cost projections for 2015 from Florida Power & Light’s going to be good news for customers in Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties. The utility’s informed the state Public Service Comission that it’ll cut its’ typical customers rate by $3/month effective May 1st. The Herald-Tribune reports FP&L considering a typical customer one who uses 1,000kwh/month. That customer’s bill right now is just over $100/month. That number will fall to $97.12/month.
