Four people were injured this morning, one of them seriously, when a van and a car collided at the intersection of SR-776 and David Boulevard in Port Charlotte. According to NBC2, the Florida Highway Patrol says the van was turning onto to 76, when got in the way of a small car. The 23-year old woman driving that car was seriously hurt. Two children, a one and a two year old, also in the car, and both in car seats, had minor injuries. The van’s driver, 38-year-old Ferenc Szoke, of Port Charlotte, had minor injuries and was charged with violating the right of way. The woman charged with driving on a suspended license.
