The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office seeks to identify a man in a check fraud case.
Detectives believe he cashed a fake check for $2,000 at the Englewood Florida Community Bank in September.
The check came from the Holiday Park & Recreation District.
The sheriff’s office says no one knew this transaction involved a fraudulent check until last month.
The office has a photo of the suspect on its Facebook page.
