The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in the death of Port Charlotte’s Kello Bonhomme.

People found the forty-year-old shot to death along Salisbury Street near Kenilworth Boulevard ten days ago.

Detectives have charged thirty-one-year-old Jarrel Johnson of Port Charlotte and twenty-seven-year-old Freddie Campbell of North Port with murder.

They had a warrant for Campbell’s arrest two days after Bonhomme’s death. The sheriff credits several units with working nonstop to make that happen.

The county jail already had Johnson for armed robbery.

Details remain minimal because the investigation continues. However, the sheriff says his office’s narcotics unit knew Johnson, Campbell, and Bonhomme all had some involvement in the county’s drug trade.
