CCSO Detectives are trying to identify a person of interest in a strong armed robbery Saturday night in the parking lot outside the emergency room at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. The victim says a black male asked her for a cigarette, then he hit her in the head, grabbed her purse and got into a car on Brinson Avenue. The suspects in his 20’s, about 5’9″, and 160 pounds. He was clean shaven with short black hair. The car’s an early 2000’s model black Chevrolet Cavalier 4 door with tinted windows.
