Over the next year, construction crews will be replacing more than a mile of water mains and storm drains, and installing a 10-foot wide multipurpose path along Elkcam Boulevard in the Parkview neighborhood. Groundbreaking for the 4.2-million dollar project was yesterday. Construction should take about 12 months. Parkview residents say they feel the neighborhood has never fully recovered from Hurricane Charley, and this will be a step in the right direction.
