Gov. Rick Scott was in Sarasota yesterday on a campaign stop on Monday trying to draw attention to his job creation history and accusing former Gov. Charlie Crist of being responsible for killing jobs. Scott, a Republican, stressed repeatedly that under his administration, Florida has added 620,000 jobs since he was elected in 2010, while the state lost 830,000 during the Crist administration from 2006 to 2010. His stop in Sarasota was at Walt’s Fish Market. The Herald Tribune reports nearly 200 people attended.
