How can the Parkside community be revitalized? That’s the topic of a meeting on Wednesday night, and officials hope you’ll attend and give them your ideas. Parkside has more than 8,000 residents and 800 businesses and it’s one of the oldest developed areas in Port Charlotte. Charlotte County leaders have been working for years on a $35 million redevelopment plan. The feedback meeting will be held at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County on Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
