Signature Healthcare of Port Charlotte’s been placed on the US Nursing Home Watch List. According to NBC2, the nursing home and some of its nurses have been accused of allowing a patient die. A report from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration found staff left an 85-year old man unattended in June, and when they returned to check on him, staff failed to perform CPR. His family’s wishes were for all steps to be taken to keep the man alive. The nurses involved were suspended and fired.
